Recruitment for the International FEMCoach Programme is Now Open!
We are excited to announce the launch of recruitment for FEMCoach – an international training initiative for female youth sport coaches. Its aim is to strengthen the role of women in coaching, promote healthy lifestyles among young people, and build an international community of practice in sport.
What is FEMCoach?
FEMCoach is a project implemented under the Erasmus+ Sport programme by a consortium of organisations from Portugal, Poland, Greece, Serbia, Spain, and Cape Verde. The partners include universities, Olympic committees, and sports organisations. Together, we have created a programme that:
- enhances the skills of female coaches working with young athletes,
- develops competences in social inclusion and gender equality in sport,
- supports the exchange of good practices between countries,
- builds a community of practice where coaches can inspire and learn from each other.
The training includes online modules as well as in-person sessions in one of the partner countries. The number of places for the in-person component is limited.
Who are we looking for?
We invite female youth sport coaches who:
- have a documented coaching history, including seasons worked, age category, gender of athletes, level of competition, and number of athletes,
- are actively engaged in the development of young athletes,
- want to develop their skills in areas such as sports psychology, training methodology, youth athlete safety and well-being, sports nutrition, and life skills transfer,
- are ready to take part in both online and in-person training sessions.
How does the recruitment process work?
The recruitment is carried out according to a uniform procedure for the entire consortium:
- Online application via a structured application form, including: consent to personal data processing, contact details, description of coaching experience, submission of a Europass-format CV (in English or in one of the consortium languages, including Polish),
- Formal and substantive evaluation by two independent experts (anonymous “blind review” process).
- Pre-selection list – September 2025.
- Interviews (if necessary) – for candidates with similar scores.
- Final list announcement – October 2025.
Key dates:
- 31 August 2025 – application deadline,
- September 2025 – pre-selection,
- October 2025 – final results announcement.
