Support for Mission Activities and Institutional Development

We are proud to announce that our foundation is launching the project “Support for Mission Activities and Institutional Development of the Institute for Sport Governance”, financed by the National Freedom Institute – Center for Civil Society Development as part of the Civic Organizations Development Program for 2018-2030 (PROO 4).

Project Objectives
This project is a response to the specific challenges faced by ISG as a leading think tank in the field of sports governance. The primary goal is to strengthen the institutional capacity of the organization, enabling us to more effectively fulfill our mission of supporting the professionalization of sports management and developing future leaders.
Planned Activities within the Project
1. Development of a 5-Year ISG Growth Strategy
We will define the strategic directions for the organization’s growth, focusing on building lasting partnerships, effective fundraising, and stable institutional development.
- The strategy will cover key areas such as human resource development, infrastructure, project activities, international cooperation, financial management, and the skill development of our team members.
- This document will serve as the foundation for our future operations and a roadmap for further professionalization in sports management.
2. Creation of a Modern Office Space
We will establish a physical ISG office in Warsaw, which will serve as the heart of our operations, a meeting place for the team, and a central project coordination hub.
- The office will be equipped with modern technology, tailored to the needs of our team and accessible to individuals with disabilities, reflecting our commitment to building an inclusive work environment.
3. Technological Infrastructure Development
We plan to invest in modern IT tools that will enhance our ability to efficiently execute projects, communicate professionally with partners, and manage data more effectively.
- This includes the purchase of state-of-the-art computer equipment, project management software, and tools to support communication and collaboration with partners globally.
4. Strengthening ISG Team Competencies
We will invest in the professional growth of our staff to better meet the needs of our partners and stakeholders.
- Training will focus on sports management, fundraising, creating professional presentations, and language skills (English and Spanish).
5. Creation of a Comprehensive CSR Education Program in Sports
This program will enable us to support sports organizations in planning, executing, and reporting on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
- It will address the growing demand for professional CSR support, which is becoming increasingly crucial for sports organizations.
6. CSR Academy in Sports
As part of the “Support for Mission Activities and Institutional Development of the Institute for Sport Governance” project, we plan to establish the CSR Academy in Sports – a comprehensive educational program designed for sports clubs, foundations, sports academies, and sponsors.
Academy Objectives:
- Education based on best practices and practical tools, including CSR strategy templates, checklists, and community engagement guidelines.
- A series of 9 thematic webinars divided into three key CSR areas: society, environment, and governance.
- Q&A sessions for direct knowledge exchange and expert consultations.
- Network building among clubs, foundations, sponsors, and local governments.
- Supporting the implementation of at least 20 CSR initiatives by participating organizations.
- Improving the image and relationships with local communities, fans, and potential sponsors through CSR activities.
Why This is Important?
Implementing this project will not only support ISG’s further development but also strengthen our position as a leader in promoting best practices in sports governance. This will enable us to more effectively support sports organizations, develop sports leaders, and build lasting partnerships at the national and international levels.
