Erasmus+ Sport Infoday 2025: New Perspectives and Inspiration
On December 16, 2024, the team of the Institute for Sport Governance (ISG), represented by Piotr Popławski, Rafał Kaszubski, and Mateusz Boczyło, participated in the annual Erasmus+ Sport Infoday in Brussels. Held at the Visitors’ Centre of the European Commission, the event gathered experts and project leaders from across Europe to share knowledge, explore opportunities, and discuss the future of Erasmus+ Sport.
Key Highlights of the Event
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to:
- Attend two informational and discussion panels focused on the future of Erasmus+ Sport in 2025. Topics included funding opportunities, project strategies, and EU priorities in promoting sports and physical activity.
- Take part in one of three thematic workshops delving into specific aspects of sports projects, such as social inclusion, gender equality, and international collaboration.
- Hear an inspiring keynote speech by Glenn Micaleff, the new Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport.
Networking and Collaboration
The event also provided a valuable platform for networking and exchanging ideas for future projects. Numerous discussions with other organizations’ representatives helped identify potential areas for collaboration and gather inspiration for initiatives that can be implemented in upcoming projects.
